A week ago, Ghanaian artist Black Sherif received a congratulations letter from online streaming platform BOOMPLAY on his debut album “THE VILLAIN I NEVER WAS” having amassed more than 300 million streams overall.
Black Sherif received a new plaque, but before that, the singer agreed to an interview at the BOOMPLAY headquarters. The fans are raving about the interview’s online video that has surfaced.
The “KWAKU THE TRAVELLER” hitmaker was questioned about five interesting facts relating to his debut album, “The Villain I Never Was.” then made an amazing discovery regarding the album.

Fun Fact 1: “Oh Paradise” from Track 13 on the album, according to BLCKO, is the album’s oldest song.
Fun fact number two: “PRAY DA YOUNGSTA” was the final song to be recorded for the album.
Fun Fact 3: The singer said that the album’s sixth song, “Sad Boys Don’t Fold,” was originally titled “Love To My Rasta.”
Fun Fact 4: The track 3’s opening is “FORTIFIED,” not “45” as most listeners assume it to sound.
Fun Fact 5: Black Sherif also revealed that the elderly people who were featured in the visuals for the track 7 “Konongo Zongo” off the album are related to him.
He claims that they are his uncles and the top cleric in his hometown of Konongo.
