The month of December is quickly approaching, and the Ghanaian government has planned every activity to revive the DECEMBER IN GH Agenda.
The concerts for this year’s December have also been confirmed by some Ghanaian performers.
Kelvyn Boy, widely recognized as one of the musicians promoting afrobeats music in Ghana, has made a significant declaration regarding how the best and greatest December in GH may be run this year.
In a recent tweet, Kelvyn Boy proposed a concert with complete government support, similar to the iconic Afro Nation, to which outside performers may be invited in addition to the incredible Ghanaian talent. He added that the event might become a yearly occurrence, rotating among Ghana’s 16 regions on an annual basis.
He continued by saying that the public should be allowed free entrance to such events.
In the final paragraph of his tweet, Kelvyn Boy scorned all the brilliant suggestions he had made.
The “VERO” composer explained at the closing of his tweet that this wonderful concept he had cannot be realized because some so-called gatekeepers would politicize it and sabotage the plot.
He wrote “How about a government funded concert like Afro Nation in December Gh Acts with 1 or 2 top artistes from the west and rotate the list and regions every year, free for all.
