Kim Maureen, who is regarded as one of Ghana’s fastest-rising Reggae-Dancehall female artists, has shared a cover of the quickly becoming popular song “CHECK ON ME” by Priesst, a young Nigerian singer.
Despite entering the open verse later than expected, Kim Maureen did a very good job, drawing Priesst’s attention. Priesst couldn’t help but respond to Kim’s performance with a fire emoji.
The kinds of statements made by Kim Maureen during her performance were really intriguing.
Kim Maureen shared some of her most profound sorrows about the music business in this “Check On Me” open verse. She talked about how long the trip has been and how much she has wanted to see her goal come true. ‘Many players in the sector have given advise, but the majority of them have shown little or no assistance’.
Kim Maureen mentioned in the same open verse that the largest obstacle facing female musicians in the business is that most people are willing to help, but only after they see you with your legs spread wide in bed.
Above all, hearing Kim Maureen unequivocally declare that she won’t give up until her artistry becomes mainstream was incredibly moving.
