The much-anticipated moment that Ghanaians have been waiting for has finally arrived after renowned rapper Sarkodie unwaveringly supported sensational singer Safo Newman.
King Sark has been a constant supporter of Safo Newman, a young, gifted Ghanaian musician, ever since his dance routine for his song “Sorrow Fly” went viral on TikTok. He even went so far as to post a wonderful comment about the young performer on his Instagram story.
After the CEO of Success Music was seen reenacting the dance routine for “Sorrow Fly,” Safo Newman became the talk of the town.
Ghanaians, as well as music enthusiasts worldwide, asked the BET Award-winning artist to collaborate with the up-and-coming artist and give him a verse rather than just posting him.
Perhaps the most celebrated rapper in Ghana, Sarkodie, has paid attention to the public because a recent Instagram video featuring two musicians in a recording studio is quickly gaining popularity.
On February 20, Sarkodie posted a video to his Instagram story detailing his meeting with Safo Newman in the studio. The background of the video featured the currently popular song “Sorrow Fly,” which was composed by a young act.
The majority of internet users think King Sarkodie will give Safo Newman a verse on his “Sorrow Fly” song.
