The 24th Edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Award debuted last weekend on Saturday, May 6.
The Grand Arena (Accra International Conference Center) hosted the eagerly awaited award ceremony. At the event, Ghanaian musicians Sarkodie, King Promise, Lasmid, and others gave outstanding performances.
“ARTISTE OF THE YEAR” was one of the categories that nearly everyone in the theater was eager to see.
Long Story Short, Fast Rising Ghanaian Singer/Rapper Black Sherif went home with the most prestigious award on the night. This is his first time winning such an award as the 24VGMA.
The triumph for their iCON was a mary call from Blacko supporters around the world.
Upon accepting his prize, Black Sheriff declared that he would be releasing an EP on June 22. He advised people to keep an eye out for it.
