Before giving an outstanding stage performance at The Parkdale Hall in Toronto, Canada, famed Ghanaian Afro-Dancehall artist Stonebwoy spoke with VIBE 105 FM about his all-time favorite collaboration.
Stonebwoy was asked which of the fantastic musicians he had collaborated with on a record, including Stormzy, SHAGGY, Davido, Sean Paul, and Tiwa Savage, was his favorite and why.
Stonebwoy chose “MANODZI,” the final track on his most recent album, “5TH DIMENSION,” where he featured Beninese-French singer-songwriter, actress, and activist Angélique Kidjo, as one of his best collaborations ever, going beyond the list of artists given by the presenter.
The Ewe language “MANODZI” means “I WILL KEEP ON KEEPING ON” in English.
The Bhim President outlined the criteria that led him to select “MANODZI” as his best collaboration.
