If you’ve had a chance to listen to Burna Boy’s most recent album, “I TOLD THEM,” you’ve probably noticed that the album’s tenth track, “CITY BOYS,” has a distinctive beginning.
The voice audio of British rapper and musician Momodou Lamin Jallow, better known by his stage name J Hus, served as the track’s introduction.
In the recording, J Hus was remembering how he formerly thought less of himself and even called himself ugly because of the color of his skin.
In a recent interview with Kiss Fresh, Burna Boy explained the motivation for his choice to include J Hus’ voice in his song.
